Wayan Sadu was born in 1975 in the village of Ubud, Bali. He is a graduate of the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI) in Denpasar, Bali. In 2005 he went on to study art in Germany. The characteristics of his painting style is very distinctive; human or animal figures with a plain background. This is quite understandable as the two things he loves most are children and dogs. Wayan Sadu’s wife is Japanese and they are blessed with two children. He has been featured in several group exhibitions in Bali, at Galeri Hadiprana Jakarta in 2000 and 2002, and Canberra, Australia in 1998.
